| The Netherlands, 1927 - The availability
of the 480 h.p. Gnome-Rhône Jupiter lead to the first two engined
Fokker design: the F.VIII. KLM needed a bigger aircraft and the F.VIII
suited this goal with its 15 passenger capacity. It had a wide body
and a very luxurious interior. |
